Event Type: paying-for-college

Students and parents from Pike High School are encouraged to attend our evening presentation to discuss planning and paying for college. INvestEd will present on picking a major and college, searching for scholarships, completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and much more.   

INvestEd will be at Pike High School to talk about what happens next after the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has been filed. We’ll answer questions about comparing college award letters, outside scholarships, and smart funding options. 

INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with filling out and submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Families should bring any tax and income information for both the student and parents to complete the application.

INvestEd will be at Pike High School to discuss the college financial aid process with students and families. We’ll talk about types of federal and state aid, applying for scholarships, and comparing college costs. Afterwards, INvestEd will also be available to assist students and families with creating the StudentAid.gov account. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and emails to create the accounts.
