Event Type: paying-for-college

INvestEd will be at North Miami High School to talk with students about planning for college. Choosing the right major and college, searching for scholarships, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are some of the topics that will be covered.  

Additionally, we’ll talk about the importance of the FAFSA, applying for scholarships, and the best funding options. INvestEd will be available to assist students with creating StudentAid.Gov accounts, an important step in FAFSA filing. Students should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses to create the accounts.  

INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with filling out and submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Families should bring any tax and income information for both the student and parents to complete the application.

Families of Peru High School are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarships and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
