Event Type: understanding-scholarships

INvestEd will discuss the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with students at The Excel Center- Bloomington. We’ll also assist with FAFSA filing and submission. Students should bring any tax and income information.

INvestEd will be at the John Jay Center for Learning to discuss the college financial aid process with high school juniors. We’ll talk about types of federal and state aid, applying for scholarships, and comparing college costs. 

Shortridge High School families are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will share the latest information about filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as well as understanding the true cost of college, acquiring scholarships and grants, and more. 

INvestEd will be at Indiana Black Expo to discuss the steps to take after filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). We’ll answer questions about the verification process, college award letters, and other funding options.
