Event Type: understanding-scholarships

Jac Cen Del High School hosts a college planning day open to students and parents. INvestEd will talk with students during the day about topics like choosing the right major and college, searching for scholarships, and staying positive on social media. Then at 6pm, INvestEd will present on these topics for families.

Seniors and their parents should bring all the necessary paperwork, including your tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) INvestEd will also be on hand to answer questions and guide families through any financial aid packages received from colleges and universities.

Students and families looking for help completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are encouraged to attend this workshop. INvestEd will be at Goshen High School to help families complete the FAFSA, and also discuss critical steps seniors need to take as they finalize their college choice. We’ll talk about next steps in the aid process, comparing financial aid award letters, various loan options and answer any questions families may have.

INvestEd travels to Paoli High School to talk with students and families about planning for college. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA, applying for scholarships and choosing the right major and college.

INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with filling out and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Families should bring any tax and income information for both the student and the parents.

Meet with admissions representatives from colleges across Indiana and beyond at the Greater Indy Northside College Fair located at the Grant Park Event Center in Westfield. Stop by the INvestEd table to get information about searching for scholarships and top questions to ask during the college search process!
