INvestEd travels to Austin High School to talk with JAG students about planning for college. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Aid), applying for scholarships and choosing the right major and college.

INvestEd will be the guest of the Center for Leadership Development at the Emerging Scholars event to discuss the college financial aid process with students and families. We’ll talk about types of federal and state aid, applying for scholarships, and comparing college costs.

Seniors and their parents should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). INvestEd will be on hand to answer questions and guide families through the process.

Families of South Newton High School are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarship and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
