INvestEd will meet with students at Calumet New Tech High School to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships, and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion.

INvestEd will be at Eastern High School in Pekin to talk with students and families about the financial aid process. We’ll talk about types of federal & state aid, applying for scholarships, & the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

Westfield High School hosts INvestEd for a discussion about college financial aid starting at 7:00pm. We’ll talk about the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), types of financial aid like scholarships & grants, and smart funding options. INvestEd will also be available from 6:30-8:30pm to assist seniors and their parents with filling out and submitting the FAFSA. Students and families planning to attend this part of the event should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA.

The Center for Leadership Development and Eastern Star Church invites students & parents to join them online as INvestEd leads a discussion about college financial aid. INvestEd will explain ways to maximize free money, the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) & comparing the cost of college.
