Event Type: understanding-scholarships

INvestEd will be at Pike High School along with representatives from various colleges & universities. Join our session during the fair where we’ll talk about choosing the right major and college, searching for scholarships, completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and much more. Make sure to visit the our table to pick up some scholarship information & get answers to questions about paying for college!

INvestEd will provide a brief overview of the types and sources of financial aid then be available to assist students with filling out and submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Students should bring any tax and income information for both the student and the parents.

Students & families looking for help completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are encouraged to attend a workshop at MADE@Plainfield where INvestEd will help families complete the FAFSA & answer any financial aid questions. 21st Century Scholar Students can also get answers to questions they may have.

INvestEd will meet with students and families at Wawasee High School to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships, and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion.  Seniors still needing to submit the FAFSA can stay after the presentation and receive assistance filing their form.

INvestEd will be at Greenwood Community High School to talk about what happens next after the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has been filed. We’ll answer questions about comparing college financial aid offers, outside scholarships, and smart funding options. We will also help families complete the FAFSA and answer any questions they may have.

Professionals from various career fields along with colleges & universities will be at Anderson High School for the D26 Anderson Career Center & Anderson High School College & Career Fair. INvestEd will answer any questions students may have about planning for college including searching for scholarships, picking the right major & career, & financial aid.

Visit with colleges and universities at the Grand Park Event Center in Westfield for the Greater Indianapolis Northside College Fair. INvestEd will be on hand to talk with students & families about the financial aid process, tips on finding scholarships, & more.

INvestEd will answer any questions students may have about planning for college including searching for scholarships, picking the right major & career, & financial aid.

INvestEd will be at Tippecanoe Valley High School to talk with JAG students about planning for college. Choosing the right major & college, searching for scholars­­hips, & the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are some of the topics that will be covered.
