Event Type: understanding-scholarships

Students and parents from Hammond Academy of Science & Technology are encouraged to attend our evening presentation to discuss planning and paying for college. INvestEd will present on picking a major and college, searching for scholarships, completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and much more.  We will have presentations at 4:30pm, 5:30pm & 6:30pm.  

INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with filling out and submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Families should bring any tax and income information for both the student and parents to complete the application.

Seniors and their parents should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  INvestEd will be on hand to answer questions and guide families through the process.

INvestEd will be at Holy Saviour’s Gospel Mission to talk with families about planning for college. Choosing the right major & college, searching for scholarships, & the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are some of the topics that will be covered.

INvestEd travels to Bluffton High School to talk with the juniors about planning for college. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and choosing the right major and college.

INvestEd will be at Carmel High School to discuss the steps to take after filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). We’ll answer questions about the verification process, college award letters, and other funding options.

INvestEd will meet with students and families at Perry Meridian High School to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion. Professionals from various career fields along with colleges and universities will also be available.  INvestEd will have resources about planning for college including searching for scholarships, picking the right major, and career and financial aid.
