Event Type: understanding-scholarships

Seniors and their parents should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  INvestEd will be on hand to answer questions and guide families through the process.

Students and families at Greenwood Community High School are invited to a Financial Aid Night. INvestEd will lead a discussion on the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the FSA ID, and comparing college costs.

INvestEd will be at the Area 31 College Fair along with representatives from various colleges and universities. Visit our table to talk about college Financial Aid, pick up some scholarship information, and get answers to questions about paying for college. 

INvestEd travels to New Castle High School to talk with students and families about planning for college starting at 6pm. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships and choosing the right major and college. Then, at 7pm we’ll lead a discussion on the FAFSA, the FSA ID, and comparing college costs for seniors. We’ll also help families file the FAFSA.

Families of New Castle High School are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarship and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
