Event Type: understanding-scholarships

Students & families from Lake Central High School are encouraged to join INvestEd in a discussion on planning and paying for college.  INvestEd will present on picking a major and college, searching for scholarships, completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and much more.

INvestEd will discuss the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with seniors at Gary Middle College West. We’ll also assist with FAFSA filing and submission. Students should bring any tax and income information for both the student and parents.

We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarship and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with students to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
