Event Type: understanding-scholarships

INvestEd will be at New Prairie High School to talk with students about the financial aid process. Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and reviewing college award letters will all be part of the discussion.

INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with families at New Prairie High School during 4 presentations taking place during the Parent Teacher Conferences. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA for both the student and parent. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses for both the student and parents.

Families of Northridge High School are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarships and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
