Event Type: understanding-scholarships

Students and parents from North Newton High School are encouraged to attend our evening presentation to discuss planning and paying for college. INvestEd will present on picking a major and college, searching for scholarships, completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), and much more.

INvestEd will be at North Newton High School to discuss the steps to take after filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). We’ll answer questions about the verification process, college award letters, and other funding options.

INvestEd will meet with JAG students at Shortridge High School to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion. INvestEd will also be available to assist seniors with filling out and submitting the FAFSA. Students should bring any tax and income information for both the student and parents to complete the application.

Students looking for help completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are encouraged to attend this workshop. INvestEd will be at Edgewood High School to help families complete the FAFSA and answer any financial aid questions.
