Event Type: understanding-scholarships

Professionals from various career fields along with colleges and universities will be at Clark County’s Super Senior Saturday hosted at Ivy Tech – Sellersburg. INvestEd will answer any questions students may have about planning for college including searching for scholarships, picking the right major and career and financial aid. INvestEd will also present about types of federal and state aid, applying for scholarships, and comparing college costs at 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, and 1:15pm.

Franklin Community High School hosts INvestEd for a discussion about recent changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). During the day We’ll talk to Seniors about the importance of the form, applying for scholarships, and the best funding options. We will repeat this presentation at 6PM for families and Seniors. After the evening presentation, INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with creating FSA IDs, an important step in FAFSA filing. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and emails to create the accounts.

INvestEd travels to Franklin County High School to talk with seniors about planning for college. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and choosing the right major and college.

INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with families at Crawfordsville High School. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA for both the student and parent. INvestEd will be at Franklin Central High School to talk with students and families about the financial aid process. Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and reviewing college award letters will all be part of the discussion.

INvestEd will meet with students at Wood Memorial High School to examine paying for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion.

INvestEd will be at Wawasee High School to talk with students and families about planning for college. Choosing the right major and college, searching for scholarships, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) are some of the topics that will be covered.

Students and families at Whiting High School are invited to Whiting HS Financial Aid Night. INvestEd will lead a discussion on the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the FSA ID, and comparing college costs.
