INvestEd will meet with junior students at Irvington Preparatory Academy to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion. Then we will meet with Seniors to lead a discussion on the importance of the FAFSA, applying for scholarships, and comparing college costs.

INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with families at River Forest High School. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA for both the student and parent. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses for both the student and parents.

Bremen High School families are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will share the latest information about filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as well as understanding the true cost of college, acquiring scholarships and grants, and more. After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to create the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA. Please don’t forget to bring Social Security numbers, phone numbers, and emails for parents and students.

We’ll talk about the importance of the form, applying for scholarships, and the best funding options. Afterwards, INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with creating FSA IDs, an important step in FAFSA filing. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and emails to create the accounts.

Seniors should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information, to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  INvestEd will be on hand to answer questions and guide students through the process.
