Ivy Tech Community College & Purdue University invites students & parents from all Tippecanoe County Schools to join INvestEd for a discussion about college financial aid at Ivy Tech in Lafayette. INvestEd will explain ways to maximize free money, the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) & comparing the cost of college.

INvestEd travels to Columbia City High School to talk with students and families about planning for college. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and choosing the right major and college.

INvestEd will be at Columbia City High School along with representatives from various colleges and universities. Visit our table to talk about college financial aid, pick up some scholarship information, and get answers to questions about paying for college.

Seniors and their parents should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). INvestEd will be on hand to answer questions and guide families through the process.

INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with families at Columbia City High School. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA for both the student and parent. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses for both the student and parents.

Families of Bremen High School are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarships and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
