Franklin Community High School hosts INvestEd for a discussion about recent changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We’ll talk about the importance of the form, applying for scholarships, and the best funding options. INvestEd will be available to assist students and families with creating FSA IDs, an important step in FAFSA filing. Families should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses to create the accounts.

East Central High School Financial Aid and FAFSA Completion Workshop
Families of East Central High School are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarships and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.

Lowell High School hosts the Northwest Indiana College Fair from 6-7:30pm where students can investigate various colleges and universities. Families can stop by INvestEd’s table to discuss options for paying for college including tips on searching for scholarships. Beginning at 5:00pm INvestEd will share the latest information about filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as well as understanding the true cost of college, acquiring scholarships and grants, and more. We’ll also work with families to create the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA.
