INvestEd will meet with students and families at Perry Meridian High School to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion. Professionals from various career fields along with colleges and universities will also be available.  INvestEd will have resources about planning for college including searching for scholarships, picking the right major, and career and financial aid.

Seniors and their parents should bring all the necessary paperwork, including tax and income information (for both students and parents), to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  INvestEd will be on hand to answer questions and guide families through the process. INvestEd will then talk about what happens next after the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) has been filed. We’ll answer questions about comparing college award letters, outside scholarships, and smart funding options.
