INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with students at The Excel Center – Grant County. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA. Students should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Families of the Center for Leadership Development are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarships and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.

Stop by the INvestEd table to get information about searching for scholarships and top questions to ask during the college search process! INvestEd will also lead a discussion on the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the FSA ID, and comparing college costs.
