INvestEd travels to East Chicago Central High School to talk with students about planning for college. The discussion will include the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships and choosing the right major and college.

August 11, 2025

INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with students at The Excel Center – Grant County. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA. Students should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses.

April 9, 2026 | 6:00 PM

Families of the Center for Leadership Development are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will present about college financial aid. We’ll discuss comparing the cost of college, scholarships and grants, and the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). After the presentation, INvestEd will work with families to complete the FAFSA. Don’t forget to bring tax and income documentation for parents and students.
