Event Type: paying-for-college

INvestEd will discuss changes to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and look at the various types of financial aid available with seniors at Shakamak High School. We’ll also assist with creating the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA. Students should bring Social Security Numbers, phone numbers, and email addresses.  INvestEd will also present to junior students on picking a major and college, searching for scholarships, completing the FAFSA, and much more. 

INvestEd will be at Beech Grove High School to talk with students and families about the financial aid process. Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and reviewing college award letters will all be part of the discussion. 

INvestEd will be at Shakamak High School to discuss the steps to take after filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). We’ll answer questions about the verification process, college award letters, and other funding options. 

INvestEd will be at Kankakee Valley High School at 6pm to talk with students and families about the financial aid process. Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), applying for scholarships, and reviewing college award letters will all be part of the discussion. After the presentation INvestEd and some representatives from colleges will be available with resources and to answer questions.

Marquette Catholic High School families are encouraged to attend this workshop where INvestEd will share the latest information about filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as well as understanding the true cost of college, acquiring scholarships and grants, and more. INvestEd will work with families to create the FSA IDs necessary for filing the FAFSA.
