INvestEd will meet with juniors at Irvington Preparatory Academy to discuss ways to pay for college wisely. Picking the right major and college, searching for scholarships and the importance of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) will all be part of the discussion. Then we will meet with seniors to lead a discussion on the importance of the FAFSA, applying for scholarships, and comparing college costs.

Eastern High School in Pekin hosts the Washington County College Fair where students of all ages can investigate various colleges and universities. Families can also stop by INvestEd’s table to discuss options for paying for college including tips on searching for scholarships.
